when can i cancel/refund mass effect andromeda preorder?

I can see that there is some confusion in this thread regarding pre-orders and refunds, so I would love to clear that up for all of you:

• We do not charge you for a pre-order until right before release. It's therefore possible that you haven't yet paid for your order, which means that there isn't anything to refund.
  
  
• If you haven't paid for the order yet, then instead of trying to refund, you can cancel the order by reaching out to our customer support.
  
  
• If you've paid for the game and you would still like a refund, then be sure to request that within 24 hours of playing (the trial does not count for this), or within 7 days if you haven't ever launched the game.

You can't request a refund for Pre-orders, please read Great Game Guarantee Policy https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/great-game-guarantee-terms  If you want to cancel your pre-order, then you will need to contact EA support  How to contact EA support

You're saying that games can't be refunded if you pre-orerded?? It says in the policy they can be refunded if they haven't been launched after release date - I'm playing the horrible Mass Effect Andromeda trail right now... will I be able to refund when it launches???  Mass Effect Andromeda is a terrible game. Refund Mass Effect Andromeda ...for those searching..

As I said above, you can contact EA support to cancel your pre-order if you wish.  In case if you can't request Refund for Mass Effect Andromeda.

I tried for 90 minutes last night and 25 minutes so far today, and there's no answer from support live chat.
