I have xbox one and my battlefront game and console are both up to date. Every time I try to load the game I get a message saying STAR WARS battlefront needs to finish installing or show ready to start before you can launch it.  0x80270300

Seems like reinstalling fixes for other games.  Before you do that though I'd try clearing it's cache.

-Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.
-Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.
-Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.
-Plug the power cable back into the console.
-Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.
-Turn on the console using the power button.

I only use the game disc, so how do I re-install it to make the error message go away?

Will I lose my previous saved data?

no...because your Data is Stored in Cloud

so i uninstalled it and after i reanstalled it so i wont lose my data (btw its a disk)

I had this problem and I just unplugged my power brick from my console and then when I connected it back up it turned my Xbox on and it started updating after I had already updated it the day before
