Do you have a possibility to try it out with another graphics card..? To me it sounds more and more like it's going to f- up. Have you clocked your GPU? Since that may cause a significantly smaller lifespan for the GPU if done wrong.

He only has integrated graphics (Intel HD 620) in a laptop unfortunately , whilst the Intel HD 620 doesn't have the minimum 256MB dedicated memory, I do not think it is cause of this.
Dedicated Memory: 128 MB
Does it only do it after 5 or 10 minutes playing is a good question in case it is heat induced though.

If it is from the heat I'd recommend to clean it first from all the dust. We don't really know in what kind of physical condition it really is from the inside.

It does this as soon as I get into the game. I remember this didn't start happening until the 5.0 patch

All good just need to eliminate what it isn't, did you delete the cache file mentioned earlier
I am also aware of your thread on reddit , so keeping an open mind with regards previous reports
someone else posted another thread bout flickering (Link) in that case a driver fixed it apparently.
if it is game related somehow though for some people would love to prove that is the case

Just in case it's related at all, could you follow the instructions in this thread and see if it changes the flickering at all: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Troubleshooting-Guides-Info/Guide-Texture-Flickering-High-to-Low/m-p/486748...
