Hello @UPG2O15
I am really sorry for these connection troubles with Battlefield 1. Have you checked those troubleshooting articles, I`ve suggested in my previous posts, for the possible solution? Sometime something as simple as restarting your console/router can solve those connection issues. Let us know, if you have done any troubleshooting so far.
Cheers,
Archi

Hi,
On this thread as I seem to be having similar problems.
I have the same issues with 'you have lost connection to the EA servers'. on soldier and store tabs. More info from my situation, multiplayer is still installing slowly currently at 55%. I am hopeful that once it is 100% I will have access to EA servers, am I incorrect??!
I have followed all troubleshooting steps apart from opening ports.
Any suggestions:?
Thanks,
George

Hey @PlasticGeorge,
indeed this issue should be resolved once the game is installed completely. Usually a portion of the game can be accessed while still being installed, but parts of it should be inaccessible yet. Let us know how that turns out in the end.

I too was given the same run around telling me to open a wide array of ports to attempt to fix this issue. When I first bought the game (3 days after release) I had no issues playing it, even through a double NAT'ed connection. Now that I have switched ISPs, have a much faster and staple connection, and no longer double NAT'ed, I cannot connect to ANY multiplayer servers for ANY EA game. The only change to my network was removing the firewall/router/gateway unit my previous ISP gave me, and now my router has a direct connection to the web.
None of the other online game I play require me to open ports in my firewall to play, so what special EA magic makes it so that is what is required to play their games on multiplayer servers. I find it hard to believe all of their customer base has to open specific ports to play their games. After working with a tech rep, their supervisor, and getting an email for a "technical specialist", I was given the following lame response:
Regardless of other games that you might play, EA games often require much more stability in terms of the connection. Beyond opening ports, we try to provide as much trouble shooting as we can since connectivity can be a range of factors. There is no specific path to provide or some elite server to provide to you either. With specific networks in place as well too, its difficult to even approach troubleshooting.
To EA, how much more stable of an internet connection do your games require? A 300Mbps upload/download connection with less than 20% utilization and an open NAT isn't enough. Seriously, enough people have complained about this issue that you as a company should look into this, instead of responding with your lame "basic" troubleshooting and trying to pass the blame on to "routing/firewall/port" issues.

I used to have that problem with BF$. Hold in the off button on your xbox, then unplug your modem for 5 minutes. It wont work if you unplug it then right back in. I hope it fixes it. I couldnt play bf4 for the first two weeks till I learned that.

I am on PC. I never used to have this problem, but now I can't finish a single match in the past 2 weeks without getting disconnected. I have opened all ports and followed all directions. It is ONLY BF1 that I am having this issue. I live in Dubai, not sure if that makes a difference. I don't know what to do. I get no lag or stuttering before disconnect, just automatic disconnect from EA Servers. Then I can reconnect almost immediately. It's not like the internet connection is having issues. Come on EA, don't disconnect people.

I have followed all connection suggestions and nothing works. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the fault of my ISP, but it's only been the past week. I attached my trace route. If it's the ISP's fault, I would suggest EA contacts them since they are one of only 2 providers in Dubai/UAE and it could affect many customers. The company is du.

Hey @Kain067 Thanks for the UO-tracer, on the Uo-tracer I can't see to much as most of is it unknown host. Interesting part is that on step 7 and 8 is that you routed to Singapore but also got 260 ping there. Try factory reset the router as its no showing up on the uotracer.
