Titanfall won't launch or start from Origins

I had the same issue but it was simply that an update was waiting for me and wasn't popping up.

I would start Titanfall 2 and Origins would show up in my tasks but nothing else.

I right clicked Origins taskbar and chose "Open" and saw it was waiting for me to Play or Update.

Why this screen didn't pop up is jarring.

I chose up date and clicked on the "Keep updated" box and will remember.
