The game keeps crashing

I tried running the game on both desktop and laptop and it would crash every time no matter what I do.

Your files show a crashing because of the vsfilter.dll which belongs to the Windows K-Lite Codec Pack.

Updating that should help.

At what point does it crash ?

It sometimes crashes immediately after I launch the game, sometimes after I click new game, and now I would get a black screen for a while after I run the game and then I would hear the intro music followed by the game crashing.

I did that but the game unfortunately still crashes

One crash seems related to nvspcap64.dll

That one is a Nvidia dl. Could you try reinstalling your graphics drivers ?

i had same problems. after UNISTALL of Windows K-Lite Codec Pack all worked. not updating....uninsall. im using windows 10.

Where is a safe place to get the codec pack? My virus software keeps deleting everything I find.
