Swtor launcher don't log in

A ping to the CDN wont work so that cant be used to test with.

However your log is pointing to your loopback IP of 127.0.0.1 and it shouldnt be , this is the actual issue missed it earlier

Have you ever altered your windows host file ?

Quick test in the command prompt as shown below if DNS is responding correctly type

nslookup cdn-patch.swtor.com

you can see for me 198.142.175.30 is the IP that should appear in the log file

It maybe a DNS issue , changing DNS servers is a good test , I use googles 8.8.8.8

That appears correct , why the log isnt getting it i'll grab a copy of my launcher log to show it shouldnt be the loopback address

It is worthwhile adding the domain *.swtor.com to any exception list that does url blocking

I imagine a good way to block a url is to address it to the loopback IP as shown

Same with avast disabled ?

The host file may be worthwhile checking will grab details how to do that

Edit - open the host file and ensure there is no entry for cdn-patch.swtor.com 127.0.0.1 if there is delete that line and save the file

1. Press the Windows key.
2. Type Notepad in the search field.
3. In the search results, right-click Notepad and select Run as administrator.
4. From Notepad, open the following file: c:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts
5. Make the necessary changes to the file.
6. Click File > Save to save your changes.

Edit - You will to change the file type in notepad to show all files not just .txt

worked, thanks, without you I would be unistalling and installing the game over again like a crazy!
