Startup crash

★★ Novice

Dear support staff,

I have made my purchase on 17th July 2017. Following the intallation of the game i came to the realisation that the doesn't start up at all, giving me the'XY has stopped working' error message.
Having read your instruction, I tried my best to resolve this issue but to no success, thus I'm this way enclosing a DxDiag of my computer hoping you could help me out.

Many thanks,

A customer

There is nothing obviously popping out of your Dxdiag as an issue so please try the following steps:

Let us know here how you get on, thanks.

Thanks for posting that extra info, it is useful.

The MSVCR120.dll is a component of the vcredist installers stored in your game folder.

Please search your game install location for vcredist*.* and then right click each one and 'Run as Administrator'.

When you have those installed, check if you can play and let us know your results here.

Thanks.

Hmm, okay. A few more troubleshooting steps to try:

  • Disconnect all devices other than your mouse and keyboard, so remove any external devices such as outboard hard drives, microphone, joystick, steering wheel etc.
  • Temporarily disable all security software such as antivirus, firewall and antimalware
  • Your Realtek audio drivers are way out of date so try to update those via your hardware manufacturers website

Again, let us know if this helps you make progress, thanks.
