After opening port range 80 on TCP protocol the download speed jumped up to 8.00 mb/sec but them went right down again.
Edit: That's with all the Modern Warfare ports disabled. After trying to open ports 443, 8080 it comes back as it's already enabled as a virtual server and cannot be added.

There aren't any server issues at the moment.
I would recommend as DarkBanishing mentioned and reach out to your ISP. I've seen it happen that the download speed of Origin gets throttled - perhaps that is the case for you.

I guess this means they are already open, so opening them gives you that message.
How did your call to your ISP go, @HDPulsee?

I haven't phoned them today as I've been caught up on something, it will probably end up being tomorrow. I managed to download both games overnight at around 2-5mbps, it was very inconsistent when I left it. It's a very weird issue.

Thanks for the update.
If you ever do get to the bottom of it, I would love to know!
Kind regards,
