PunishShroom Tech Issue

As a tech support problem I thought I'd try to post this to see if there's a solution to PunishShroom mechanics.  

 

Lately, in doing the damage, the special attack on PunishShroom (+2) will hit the same dead zombie multiple times, despite their health dropping below zero, instead of selecting another random zombie.

 

I don’t know if it’s because of an animation lag so the defeated zombie doesn’t disappear before the next Punishshroom attack comes out or what, but its happening a lot.

If a zombie is defeated, it should be removed after the shot drops its health below zero, and not continue to take hits.

 

Any help would be appreciated as it can have significant impacts on the outcomes and gameplay.

Yes, it is definitely annoying when that happens, but that is just the way the game is set up.

There is a set order to all actions each turn. Damage is decided and dealt before fighters are removed from the field.
