I recently installed Titanfall 2 and every time I launch it, I get a frozen black screen with the same error message "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET". Attached is a screenshot of the error. After researching different ways to fix this issue, I have not found any answers. I have tried:
1) Clean uninstall of drivers as well as installation of various drivers (17.3.1, 16.10.1, and others in between).
2) Uninstalling any type of fps overlay applications
3) Killing various apps before launch
Here are my PC specs:
CPU: Pentium G4560 Kaby Lake
GPU: MSI RX480 8GB X Gaming
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
Mobo: MSI B250 Mortar
Attached is my dxdiag.txt file and screenshot of the error.
Thanks for your help!

Hello @bgoods1212
I am really sorry for those troubles with Titanfall 2. Can you check this article for the possible solution? This seems to be caused by overclocking your GPU. Do you have MSI Afterburner installed?

I have tried all of those solutions that applied to my situation to no avail. I underclocked my GPU using Wattman (Radeon) by almost 100 Mhz but it didn't work. I uninstalled MSI Afterburner as well.

Does anyone else have a possible solution? Otherwise, @EA_Archi can I get my money back for this game or a key to download a different EA title?
Thanks!

Hey... @bgoods1212

If Dx12 enabled in game switch it to Dx11

Unfortunately, @INicexixI's suggestions didn't work. I looked at the origin article and apparently I do not qualify for a refund...I haven't played the game once and have spent hours upon hours trying to fix the game. How can I not qualify for a refund @EA_Archi?
