Hi @Miriah01
Delete temp files: open the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Search field or click in the Run option in the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Run field.Press Enter and a Temp folder should open. You can delete all files found in this folder, and if any files are in use, they can be skipped.
Clear Origin cache https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/origin-my-games-list-is-blank/
Restart your machine .
Run the setup file Origin with Admin rights http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-a-program-or-a-game-as-an-administrator/#2
My Opinion is no more important or right than yours.I'm a gamer like you, trying to help you (i'm not an EA employee).

Well that didn't work. Just made it worse so now origin opens when I start the game as well as still opening when I quit the game.
This is a nightmare and a royal pain in the rear end!

I am having a similar issue, but instead I have not even played any of the games or opened it and it will try to open randomly.

Guessing this is why my post disappeared? As I, too, am having this issue. 3 times yesterday and already 4 to 5 times today. It's annoying as.....You know.

Same here. Only mine auto-updated and now won't stop opening itself up. My wife took a look at this morning and it was on autostart after reboot, but I've not rebooted my PC in about a week. That presents another issue, as 2 weeks ago when I did reboot it, I had turned it off to not auto-start during reboots. grrrr! About to uninstall and kiss EA completely goodbye.

I tried that @yahel_1 , it is still popping up when it shouldn't be. This time, it happened while I was afk and no one was using my PC. Really starting to think about uninstalling it, as I hardly play what few EA games I do own. Thanks for the idea though! Hope you're having a great weekend!

My Origin client keeps randomly opening as well. It happens when I'm playing other games which are then forced to minimize so I can look at an Origin login window. I'm about 2 seconds away from uninstalling this annoying application.

Hi @Daalon , @exceptionalnull
Try to perform a Clean Boot https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/FAQ/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
Then if your issue persists make sure you have removed all files and folders related to the installation Origin.
-manually uninstall Origin http://help.ea.com/en/article/manually-uninstalling-origin/
-run CCleaner http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-use-ccleaner-to-fix-pc-issues/
-then go in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin -delete this Origin folder
-clear Origin cache https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
-delete temp files: open the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Search field or click in the Run option in the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Run field.Press Enter and a Temp folder should open. You can delete all files found in this folder, and if any files are in use, they can be skipped.
-now you have to go to your recycle bin and clean so there will no longer Origin exist as a file.
-restart your machine.
-install Origin as administrator ,very important to do https://www.origin.com/en-ie/download
I wait your feedback.
