NHL 17 online versus sluggish

Playing online versus mode my team (regardless of what team I choose) is completely unresponsive and sluggish. I can instigate fights and my controller vibrates constantly?! Passes are delayed. I have played other games and no issue with connection or xbox....what the heck is going on?

When playing in this mode, your opponents connection quality (not just yours) is part of the equation and can contribute to the issue you are seeing.

All you can really do is try to make sure your connection is as good as it can be and hope others do the same:

I have good connection and still unresponsive only online

Exactly, even when I play against friends with great connection it is really really bad.

When I play online, my team is 1/2 the speed of the team's I am playing against. It makes it not even fun to play. It used to never be this way, but it's all the time now. Sooooo annoying.
