Live Events Issue

When i started the live events for ufc 214 for the first time i couldn't choose my fighter and when i lost 3 fights with Cormier i could select between jones and cormier but then the game just freezed. I had to restart and then i had to play with cormier again.. WHY??? I just want to play with the fighter i selected and that's not Cormier! That sucks. It's nice that the game just fails at a point where i want to choose my fighter.... That's just awful EA!
