How to change my avatar

I run NFS no limits on my iphone 7plus and I can't figure out how to change my avatar in the game. When I try to touch the profile image nothing happens and I still have that ugly generic silhouette.

Please can you instruct me on how to deal with this. Sorry but I can't figure out a solution.

Can you change your Gamecenter avatar and let us know if that change is reflected in-game please?

Unfortunately I run iOS 10.2 and I do not have the gamecenter app. I tried to browse the settings and gamecenter preference with no result.
