How do I fix the issue when I cant connect to PS or EA for Madden 16?

What do I do. I want to play with a friend on PS4, but I cant! It keeps telling me I need to connect to PSN or EA servers! Should I call them? I've done everything ive been told to do from people on the internet!

this didn't work i've reset the whole system deleted madden re downloaded it didn't work i need someone to help me fix this because ive paid to much money to get no where ive called you guys no help ive called PSN no help im pissed
