i did as you suggested, i went to security and under the tab "allow and app through windows firewall" and added origin. was that what i needed to do?
if so, it did not solve the issue, it's still crashing.

Could you please try running your system in a clean boot? If that doesn't help, then I would also love to see an Origin Error Report - you can post the ID # in this thread.

Thanks for the files.
I noticed that your Windows installation isn't completely updated. Could you installing the latest Windows updates to see if that resolved the problem? Your GPU drivers are also outdated, so try a clean installation of the latest available drivers:

I hope that helps!

Are there any other security programs that you're still running on your system? You could also trying manually uninstalling Origin to see if a fresh installation will do the trick.
If that still fails to work, then you might be looking at a System Refresh to sort out damaged or missing registry or Windows files.

Hi, I have the same problem with you , and all the problem code is same. I found the problem maybe that your Windows user account have a username with some invalid characters , for me is Chinese.
I have fixed it by following steps:
1.Create a new user account in your Windows, please note don't use any characters except English.
2.Then restart and login in the new account, and install origin .
If you don't want to play origin in a new account , another way is change the username. There are many ways to change it , but please note don't just modify the username in Control Pannel - Change your account name , It just change the display name . When you open the task manager and select user tab , you could see the actual username.
