Coop mode not working

I am able to access all other features for Star Wars Battlefront but when trying to start and online coop game with a friend it keeps saying session expired and I am kicked out. Have tried resetting my xbox with no luck. I have searched through the online forum and help sections and there seem to be no answers even though many have the same problem.

Please can you provide a solution.

My old hitron modem didn't have a setting to disable ipv6. I exchanged it for a hitron CODA modem and chose ipv4 only in the router settings. This allowed me to play coop. Hope that helps!
