Change Origin ID back to an old one

Hi everybody !

My Origin account has been hacked recently.

I called the help center at EA and they were able to give me access back to my account. Some informations have been changed by the hacker but I was able to put mine back exept for the Origin ID.

When I try to put my old one it says that it's taken. Of course it is ! By me !

The person I had on the phone couldn't help me so maybe someone here can.

I would like to know if I can put my old Origin ID back on my account.

Hi, first of all, any account and billing related inquiries can only be handled by our Game Advisors via chat or phone since they include sensitive, personal information and due to account security and privacy reasons we are not able to assist with these kind of things in a public forum. 

So, even though that's basically where you are coming from, you'll have to contact a Game Advisor once again, please.

If your desired Origin ID is already in use, you should be able to answer some simple security questions, if it's your account. If not, it might belong to someone else and in that case we won't be able to free up the name for you. Sorry.
