Can't play NHL 17 online

This is the 3rd copy of NHL 17 i've bought. I just bought the 3rd one an hour ago. What is happening is that when I go to play online, it just starts spinning with the load screen and people i'm playing with are telling me connection was disconnected. I've tried NHL 16 and 15 and i can play both those games. I'm trying to uninstall and reinstall as we speak. Has anyone else had this issue and does anyone have a potential solution (just an FYI, I have not tried any other game modes except online).

It is quite likely your game is still just completing its installation in the background. When that is done, all game modes will become available.
