I went to https://www.origin.com/ita/it-it/store to download the latest version of Origin. When i run the setup i get an error saying that Origin can't be installed because my PC is not connected to the internet. The thing is that my PC was always connected during the installation process. I tried several times and i got the same error everytime. Please help, i spent a lot of money on games that i can't play right now.

Hello @imswagsheriff
Can you try to reboot your Internet (Modem or Router) and run a clean boot on your PC https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/ ?
Also, run Origin Installer as Administrator.

@Volpefox1998 I was able to fix the problem, just run the installer in compatibility mode (i tried with Win XP mode and it worked) and you should be able to install Origin, then just disable compatibility mode and run as administrator. Hope this helps.

Hi thank you so much finally it starts, but how can i turn off Compatibility mode?Because this is the version for xp, how to update it to the latest?

You can turn of compatibility mode via right-clicking Origin -> Properties -> Compatibility.
If the issues reoccurs when trying to update to the current Origin version, then be sure to check our connection troubleshooting thread:
