I have tried several different things I have read from here to try to get my Sims 4 Get Together game to download but every time it comes up saying download failed and to check internet connection even though I am connected with four bars of connectivity. I have never had any type of problem before with Sims games. I have been able to download all my other Sims 4 add-ons but the Get Together. I'd like to get it fixed cause now it just feels like a waste of money.

Disable your firewall protection through your anti virus.
Perform a Clean Boot https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/FAQ/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/.
Run the setup file Origin with Admin rights http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-a-program-or-a-game-as-an-administrator/#2
NOTE if your issue persist go to the Origin client, click on Origin / Application Settings / Diagnostics- and from there enable Safe Mode Downloading. Now restart Origin and try to download.

I have already done all of that and it still doesn't work. My mother is a computer tech and she told me the same and actually did it for me but the problem is still happening.

Clearing hosts file

Restart your machine
Clear DNS cache

Now go in Origin / My game Library -right click on game icon select Repair and then Check for update.
