an unkown error

I tried to link my steam version of spore to my ea account but it always says there was an unknown error

what do i do

 I tried to play Spore, but when I tried registering it won't let me and says "An unknown error occurred during registration. Please try again later". And every time I try again it still gives me the same error. is there something wrong with my account or something?

@EL1T3_SK8ER@SquegeeMcgeeThe only logical thing i could think of is, that because if the games age, the servers responsible for that got shut down.
