Purchased Spore for my daughter but she can't access it?

The only solution seems for her to play using my account, which negates her having her own account in the first place. I've now asked for a refund as I don't want her playing using my account for obvious reasons.

Is it because Spore is an old game that she can't access it on her account?

Even if Spore an older game, you can access your account.
But currently isn't possible, because the server in maintenance work

Do you mean Origin or Spore accounts. If it is the Spore account it is because when you posted this the servers were down.
