problem with creating or joining a team in skate 3

Hi!
I (and several friends) have been trying unsuccessfully to do anything with the team functions of skate 3. When looking around for information on the issue, I have found that the servers for the logo and video part of the game have been closed, but no mention of the team stuff.
As the game is now playable on the xbox one, I thought I would try and get an official answer so...
Is there any reason I cannot get into a Team freeskate (with 6-players )?

Am I asking in the wrong forum?
Seems like pretty bad customer support, over two weeks and not even a "we're investigating the problem" non answer.
If the team servers are no longer available (like skate.reel etc) add that information to the pinned topics, if it is a temporary issue, just say so. I feel this is a simple problem to give me an answer to, and have no idea why I am being ignored. I am not demanding a new skate game/remaster/servers being turned back on or anything costly to EA, please just some information.

Hi moderators/support.

Please take a look into this issue.  It returns an error message when trying to view teams.  You're unable to add more players or manage members, so a few trophies are disabled as a result of this.  A fix would be nice.

Another week, still nothing.
Very disappointed in the total lack of communication from EA. I noticed a comment was deleted, so some kind of moderator has looked in this thread, but they just choose to ignore the question.
