Cannot see my Facebook or Google+ friends

I have logged into my Facebook and Google accounts in SimCity and my friends are able to see me in their list and view my city. Though, the problem is that I can't see any of my friends' cities. I've tried relogging numerous times, I've even tried reninstalling the app, but nothing has worked so far.

Mobile games generally update your friends list every 24 hours. Try leaving the game running (in the background of your phone) for over 24 hours and it should pick up the latest list.
