I have been playing for about 3 weeks and I have opened one part of the beach and one expansion. Is it normal for the game to move so slowly? The problem is the materials for expanding seem to be extremely rare. I am pretty sure that is part of the money making strategy, but it seems to be extremely over aggressive in that regard. Besides spending cash, which is, at the prices in the game basically useless, is there some secret way to move things along at a faster pace or is it the regular experience to have to wait a week or two before getting what you need to open up more space - unless you lay out gobs of cash?
EDIT: I'm thinking I should use my "free" Simcash to buy those expansions, since paying for Simoleans is worthless (99.99 for 8400 Simoleans? PLEASE - I can generate that in about 20 minutes!!!). Maybe that will be the way???
