I have been one of the players who was disappointed by the new release of SimCity.
1. It's upsetting to me that all my older versions of SimCity now will not work on my PC at all. In a sense I have no way to play older versions I loved and had spent years making regions. I want my ability to play the old games back.
2. City size needs to be increased. I find it impossible to build a thriving city in such a small confined square. Make them 4 to 6 times larger and bring back the bordering lots again instead of separate tiles.
3. Taxes and income are NOT adequate to support the city. If you raise taxes so they are everyone abandons your city, the other option is to build more residential zones.. again.. lots too small to expand...
4. City tiles seem to have lost the ability to thrive off adjacent cities. Older versions of SimCity, if I was lacking in people, they commuted in from next door.
At any rate I want to go back to the previous version of SimCity. It was more realistic and fun.
