How to get the daily bonus?

Hi community!

I started to play in December, participated to a few Mayor's contests but I never saw the red dot on the + near the Simcash like other friends of mine playing the game.

Are some of you experiencing the same issue?

Has something special to be done to unlock the feature?

It seems that if you buy the daily simoleons that you also get the daily bonus. When your 30 days are over so is the daily bonus.

I've only bought the daily simoleans once and that was a few months ago. In fact it was a different deal than it is now (650 now and 50 per day.) I started receiving this new bonus about 2 weeks ago so to me they seem unrelated. So it appears to be a mystery
