login service unavailable

Hiya, i was ingame and my sound sudenly died, i logged off normaly, rebooted my pc and fixed the sound issue, then i tried to log back into game, it keeps saying that the login service is temporarily unavailable.

There is however no notification on swtor.com abaout maintenance and any and al fixes from this website do not help, hereby i'm posting my log:

First try to delete the file

DiskCacheArena

file from the swtor directory and try again. If that doesn't work then try a repair:

Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner. If this is NOT present, click the cog icon and then run the repair option.

Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut, select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcher.

Worse case scenario switch to the non streaming launcher:

NOTE this is a complete download of the game again

right mouse click on game shortcut and select open file location
open the launcher.settings file in notepad and locate the below line and edit to the below

, "PatchingMode": "{ \"swtor\": \"SSN\" }"
, "bitraider_disable": true

SAVE the changes.

Delete the BitRaider, Movie and Asset folders then start the launcher.

i can pretty much confirm its * bitraider again, that damn hacker program that lets hackers in and keeps players out.

Deleted bitraider and was able to log in, unfortunatly, during startup bitraider was reinstalled and when i exited game and tried to relog into game through launcher it gave the damn login service unavailable * again. checked my folders and * bitraider was reinstalled.

bitraider is the issue.

Are you using UPC or Ziggo if so will be same as the other thread here

Deleting the bitraider folder triggers a file repair function , and it puts the folder back as part of this process (normal)
