Hey guys,
Gonna get right to the point.
This screen has been stuck for more than 30minutes, the thingy is still rotating tho.
This is the first time I'm installing the game on this PC.
Any suggestions?

Download the launcher repair utility here and put it in the same folder directory of your launcher and run it from there.
Also just in case add swtor.exe and launcher.exe to your antivirus and firewall safe list in case they are blocking or deleting files.

Close the launcher, open task manager, go to the Processes Tab and stop all bitraider (br) processes. Next go to the Services tab and ensure bitraider is setup to run automatically.
Finally ensure the program is being run as an administrator and restart the launcher.

Hello again,
Sadly the solution is only temporary...
Every time I quit the game I have to launch the LauncherRepairUtility, otherwise it won't start, and the game itself is still buggy
Any suggestions?

Try the following:
With the game and launcher closed right mouse click on game shortcut and select open file location. Make sure this is swtor.exe and not the launcher repair utility.
open the launcher.settings file in notepad and locate the below line and edit to the below
, "PatchingMode": "{ \"swtor\": \"SSN\" }"
, "bitraider_disable": true
SAVE the changes.
If they exist delete the BitRaider, Movie and Asset folders then start the launcher.
Wait for it to update again and see if the issue continues

Make sure you're moving the LauncherRepairUtilityP1.8.2.exe into the folder where your game is installed, by default it's here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic
Running it once from that folder should update all the launcher files, so that next time you start the Launcher from a shortcut/taskbar/start menu, you won't need to use the LauncherRepairUtility.
