At least for the Race Togruta there is no Helmet option, as for some of the Companions.

support@swtor.com works, but it takes time it is more like an last resort contact way.

I would say the average turn around time is about 24 - 72 hours not including weekends. Someone else had an issue with their account and got a response fairly quickly. If you email them I would not expect a response till Monday or Wednesday at the latest.

The only other thing I can think of is to subscribe for one month (submit the ticket for torchy then)
or grab the Head Slot Authorization unlock from the Cartel Market or the GTN
