Game wont launch. Please Help.

When I try to run the launcher nothing happens, it just askes if it can make changes to my computer and then nothing. I tried running as administrater but thats didn't change anything. How do i run the game? Please help.

I installed the repair utility, and it still does nothing. when I look in my pc processes I see swotr for a couple secounds then it disapears.

Try adding swtor.exe and launcher.exe to your antivirus and firewall safe list in case they are blocking or deleting files.

Try also disable your antivirus and firewall to see if it runs.

If you are using AVG I believe there is an issue with the link surf shield setting and you have to disable it.

Sorry it took so long to respond. I have let it through my firewall, and I have disabled my antivirse for it, it still wont launch.... do I give up?

Please provide a dxdiag per this link also mention the antivirus and firewall that you are currently using.

Likely best to take the system to a clean boot per this link   , now if you are using streaming signified by letters ST on the launcher when you go to disable windows services, leave all bitraider ones enabled and set to automatic, like bitraider mini support service stub loader.

however the launcher will appear if this is disabled just not patch, so if it allows the launcher to appear follow the steps in the link to narrow down the cause.

post back if this has nil affect.

The launcher is like a web browser and can be affected by browser addons and anti malware setting just for info.
