Game still thinks it's downloading and can't leave 1st planet

★★★ Newbie

Hi everyone,

so I'm having the following issue, my SW game download is stuck at 99.98%, it's been like that for the past couple days.

I can't leave the first planet since the game thinks it is still downloading, anyone with this issue?

Many thanks

restarting the client should help.

Also give the launcher a little bit extra time after patching has completed, this should resolve the issue.

Can also try a repair to see if it sorts it

Get rid of the BitRaider client, as it causes a lot of issues :

Navigate to : C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars-The Old Republic
Delete the BitRaider sub directory.
Valid for Win 7 / 8 / 10 TP

Open the launcher.settings file with Notepad and change the following :

, "PatchingMode": "{ \"swtor\": \"BR\" }"
, "bitraider_download_complete":
{ "swtor": true
}
, "bitraider_disable": false

To:

, "PatchingMode": "{ \"swtor\": \"SSN\" }"
, "bitraider_download_complete":
{ "swtor": false
}
, "bitraider_disable": true

ATTENTION tho : It will redownload the game assetts and videos, which is a 25 GB download, so it may be a wee bit long on slower connections.
