plants vs zombies garden warfare cannot connect to E servers

My son has just brought this game for xbox360 and can't play it as it just keeps saying that it cannot connect to the EA server and to check our connection. I have no problems connection to other online games (Titan fall, any of the Co's, ect), what is going on, he is deviated.

@antraven302 If you are playing on Xbox 360, please enable the following online ports on your connection:
TCP: 53, 88, 3074
UDP: 53, 88, 3074
For specific instructions on how to open your ports, please visit http://www.portforward.com/ or contact your router manufacturer.

To make sure that no corrupt data causing your issue, you should clear your cache:

1. From the dashboard, click on My Xbox.
2. Select System Settings.
3. Select Storage.
4. Highlight Hard Drive Device.
5. Press Y to select Device Options, then Clear System Cache.
6. Reboot your console.
