Hyper Shot Challenge

Myself and my while have tried finishing this challenge but no matter how we do it it will not work.

Challege: use hyper, then immediately vanguish a enemy 3 times.

We have done this in many ways and combos and no luck.

We have gone hyper and killed them immediately, We have killed them immediately after hyper fades, we have chili bombed and hyper as soon as the bomb goes off and nothing. 

We have done it on multiplayer of all kinds and also co-op and single. How do we move past this challenge?

It's odd that it's not progressing for you, all it is is activate hyper and vanquish enemies, not very hard to do.

I doubt that this is the case, but which version of Hyper are you using? If you're still at a loss and it continues, could easily just skip challenge it.
