Cross Console playing

we own a 360 and recently boubght a One to give to the family for christmas.  we looked into buying Destiny with the intent of playing together - one on the 360 and one of the One.  however, Destiny doesn't support cross-console playing.  does PvZ have the same problem or can a player on the 360 play with a friend on the One?

Unfortunately PvZ:Garden Warfare doesnt support cross platform play.
