PvZ ps3 characters not available after unlocked

I have unlocked 5 characters - plasma cactus, toxicpea, paint engineer, solar flare, and cheetoh scientist- and they don't show up on the character screen. What am i missing?

I am really sorry for those issues with your characters missing in the game. Have you tried to power cycle your console? Reinstalled the game? Keep us posted on this.
