If i own pvz gw 2 on xbox can i play it on pc

I bought pvz gw 2 on the Xbox one and earned quite a few characters I really want to start playing it on the pc and I was wonderingf if I could install it on my pc and have all my progress still there. Also if I would have to buy it again for the pc

I know this topic is a few weeks old, but oh well. No, you would have to buy the game for the PC, but that's just how EA is. They just want your money.
