Do we need our accounts to transfer our characters to the next game, garden warfare 2?
Note: this is for "PlayStation", not Xbox. It's a wrong place to setup my post. I deeply apologise about this and there's nothing I can do to move this post to PlayStation troubleshooting. I'm sorry

Because since I join PSN in 2011, my account is anthonylu12, for my PS3 and right now. I cannot remember my password and date of birth. But at least it's still working right now since I put save password on.
Do I need the same account from the PS3 to the ps4 to transfer my unlocked characters to garden warfare 2?
I don't want to leave my progress behind on the PS3. And getting to redo all the progress again on the second game.
