Multiplayer error

Recently purchased and installed the game but every time I try to play online it says "Multiplayer Error. You or a member of your group does not have the correct permission to access online features". I've played other EA games as well as the first Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare and never had this issue. So why isn't it allowing me to play?

@monroy1321 Did the issue persist for you? I think that error message is due to someone not having permissions to play. This is usually due to an underage account, or if someone doesn't have an active Xbox Live subscription.

This happens to us all the time. It worked for about a few weeks, then stopped. It keeps giving us that message. We don't have an underage account and we do have the Xbox Live. Frankly, without this capacity, it is a waste of money and I am VERY frustrated! I would like to know how you can fix it.
