My P V Z game keeps throwing me this error : failed to retrieve your saved data

Is the server down?

ON a PC with NVidia Motherboard and Intel Icore 2 Quad 2.40 GHz

4GB of RAM in OS Windows 7 Professional 64bit

CONNECTION Connecting to EA Server then into ERROR Failed to retrieve your saved data!
Click [OK] (no other choice) then a new screen ERROR Are you sure you want to proceed with no saving? [YES] or [ NO ]
Yes continues into game and your back to starting over again with a new avatar.
And No continues into game but with constant ERROR Are you sure you want to proceed with no saving? [YES] or [ NO ] as you navigate to Game-pad to set up all your old settings.  Then the game continues into demo of all avatar characters abilities videos.  Basically, nobody would want to accept losing all their game progress and advances.  And obviously I’m here looking for how to retrieve my game data back to continue where I left off.

I'm having the same issue for the last couple of days.... but I tried to reinstall it, but after I uninstalled it simply crashes during installation.
