Bought this as a Christmas present for my boy - he has been wanting it for ages. It needed to download a huge update file (3.4GB) and then when the game starts it says you must have PlayStation Plus to play it (to do anything!). Game says clearly on packaging that PS Plus is only required for Multiplayer online but he can't even play one player Garden Ops offline.
It says on the back cover 1-2 players and that PS Plus is only required for 2-24 players.
The ONLY option given is to sign up for PS Plus which we cannot afford. He doesn't want me to take this game back to the store for a refund as he really loves this particular game.
This is ridiculous. Surely EA needs to fix this bug or refund customers in full for false advertising. I've got a crying kid who can't even play the game.
