PvZ Garden Warfare PC terrible lag in-game

I'm trying to play this game, but I'm having a terrible lag experience. On the menu its fine, and during the tutorial videos for new abilities its fine, but when choosing a character, customizing a character, and in game, it just reaks with lag. All my settings are on the lowest. Any idea?

You do not have a gaming quality video graphics adapter, and must expect such slowness unless / until you replace it with the proper GPU to meet the requirements.  You also need updated drivers, to at least those from last November, of 2015.
