Flash uses a lot of resources and there's a lot of animation in the game.
It may help if you increase the storage available to Flash for pogo.com.
Please see this article from the official Adobe website:

  1. Go to the Adobe Flash Player Global Storage Settings panel.

    • On the second tab slide the scale all the way to the right.
On the second to last tab look for Pogo (any variation) click on it and the slide the scale to the far right.
  2. Click on the slider bar and move it all the way to the right (unlimited).

  3. Make sure "Allow 3rd party Flash content" is enabled
  4. Place a check mark beside "Store common Flash components to reduce download times"

The tool automatically saves your changes so you do not have to worry about navigating away or accepting the changes manually.

Clear your Flash Player Storage

Help with Blurry screens

Although Flash Player can display high-quality video and images by itself, hardware-accelerated scaling uses the video or graphics card on your computer to display images and video more clearly and quickly than Flash Player can on its own.

If you have display problems with Flash Player, such as poor picture quality or slow display times, deselect Enable Hardware Acceleration in the Display panel.

This should eliminate hardware or driver compatibility problems with Flash Player. Flash Player then uses software to scale and display the content.

Head up here :Flash Player Help Website

Scroll down to the page until you see the (quite nice) animation:

flash animation.JPG

Right click on the animation and select Settings

You'll see a tiny popup window

Select the first tab. If Enable Hardware Acceleration is checked, then uncheck it.

*Flash Player Manager Settings*

Are you allowing ample cache space for Flash files? Clearing the Flash cache occasionally? It also helps to shut down nonessential programs such as IMs and computer-generated music while playing.

You can access storage settings via this link - note this is your actual Flash Player Settings Manager as this information is displayed independently for each user online:  Flash Player Settings Manager (link to your individual Settings Manager

Just click on the links in the upper left hand side of the screen that correspond with the screens below to access each one

These are the settings I use with no freezing:

Image

and my Global Storage permissions adequate for the loading of games

I always allow my Flash Security Settings free access to pogospike-prod.pogo.com and game3.pogo.com

And it doesn't hurt to keep the Flash cache clear. You can clear your Flash cache and cookies by going to Start > Control Panel > click on or type in 'Flash Player' > Storage. Click the Delete All button.  Note: You will need to re-do the above settings each time you clear your Flash cache.

ETA:  If the above instructions do not resolve the issue please try the tips provided by HOCK9952 in the post below.

You may have to investigate a bit to find out what’s blocking your Flash application from working.

It could even be a browser extension, toolbar or add-on as well as your AntiVirus/firewall/proxy

which is preventing the applet from connecting with the Pogo server.

Following are several workarounds & tweaks to try.  You may not need to perform them all.

Have you tried using a different browser? Did you get the same results?

Remember to try to reload your current session.   F5

Make sure you have the latest Flash player installed as well as current & updated browsers, extensions & add-ons.

Clear your Flash cache.

Add storage to your Flash player.

Try playing in Incognito Mode (InPrivate Browsing mode; Safe Mode Firefox) & see if you have better results.

While on the game screen, right-click as soon as you see the green bar loading & open a new window or a new incognito window. That might help to load the game for you.

Do you have browser add-ons that can interfere with game loads such as NoScript, BetterPrivacy, DoNotTrack, AdBlock or Ghostery?  Check to make sure that permissions allow scripting, tracking & Flash applications.

If you have a DoNotTrack feature or ActiveX Filtering (IE) enabled, remember to temporarily disable them while you're on the Pogo site. Your AV/firewall/modem/router/proxy settings could be preventing the applet from connecting with the server so add Pogo’s 3 game addresses (URLs) to your AV/firewall/router exceptions/permissions/allow lists.

Whitelist Pogo in your exceptions/allow/permissions lists. Here are 3 Pogo game addresses (URLs)  to whitelist:

pogo.com
game3.pogo.com
pogospike-prod.pogo.com

Also, try not to have too many windows open or programs running simultaneously. You have some

processes constantly running in the background already.  Flash games are resource hogs.

You could disable hardware acceleration if problems still persist.

Update your graphics card drivers if necessary.

Make sure your browser zoom level is set at 100% for optimal game play.

Reset the router or access point. Unplug your modem/router for 5 minutes. Then plug your modem back in.   Wait until all the blinking indicator lights are solid. Now plug your router back in.

Restarting a Windows PC is a good way to clear out its memory. This will help to ensure that any errant processes or services that have started running should get shut down.

+++ NB: Close out your browser after cleaning your browser cache for best results. +++
IMPORTANT! ►►►*****Reboot after making system adjustments.*****◄◄◄

Ensure that your Flash settings are maximized for unlimited storage.

Here’s a helpful link from the Adobe Flash website for Windows:

HELP! FLASH PLAYER GAMES DON'T WORK

Run a Flash player test on all of your individual browsers that are installed on your machine. There are 3 different types of Flash so ensure that you check all 3 browsers if you use all 3. Nowadays, some browsers will disable your plug-ins as a security measure. Test your plug-ins to see if they still work or need updating.
