  3. In the Plug-ins section, select the Disable individual plug-ins link to check whether Java is enabled
  4. Click on the Enable link (if the Disable link appears, Java is already enabled)

Note: Alternatively, you can access the Plug-ins settings by typing about : plugins (without spaces between about and : plugins) in the browser address.

Firefox

  1. Start Mozilla Firefox browser or restart it if it is already running
  2. At the top of the browser, select the Firefox button (or Tools menu in Windows XP), then Add-ons
The Add-ons Manager tab will open.
  3. In the Add-ons Manager tab, select Plugins
  4. Click Java (TM) Platform plugin to select it

I have a problem once I get to the terminal area. I am the only one on my computer and have no idea how to log on as administrator. So, when I tired the "solutions" on this forum, I can't get past the first step.

What is your operating system, is there any error message?

Is this happening when you are trying to remove Java;  to download Java ?

We would need more details to assist you as we do not know what is exactly happening or displaying in your screen.

Last night my pogo worked just fine. I was able to play both flash and java games. Now I can't play either. What is going on? I went through all your troubleshooting steps and Java and Flash are both enabled, The Java Cache and Browser Cache are cleared. Why can't I play Pogo? I have a problem with the Java and Flash popups saying I need to install. Well both are updated and installed. I even tried deleting and reinstalling. Any help would be much appreciated thanks.

Is it this following Java message?

unsupported_version_java.jpg

If so, it's probably because the Java plug-in is disabled. Java must be enabled to properly play Pogo game.

All mainstream browsers have an option for enabling Java, which ensures any applets that use it will function properly.
For a complete list of per-browser instructions for enabling Java, visit http://www.java.com/en/download/help/enable_browser.xml

So I uninstalled all my java's...then installed java 7 11......Cannot play on the java games on Chrome or Firefox...But I can play on Internet Explorer, even tho a pop up comes up and I have to press the run button...

This is ridiculous. I need an answer.... We have challenges tomorrow in some of the games affected, which will then affect reaching the 1000 challenge special badge. HELP!!!
