Clearing your Browser Cache and Cookies

Below you will find tutorials for clearing cache and cookies on each browser officially recommended for Pogo.

 

Please note that as browsers update these instructions may slightly change, but hopefully the general steps remains the same.

 

How to clear browser cache:

Clearing your Browser Cache and Cookies - Internet Explorer 11

To clear your browser cache and cookies on Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) follow the steps below:

 

  1. Open Internet Explorer 11 and go to www.pogo.com

  2. Click the cogwheel in the top right corner of the browser, below the X to close the browser.

  3. Select 'Safety

  4. Select 'Delete browsing history..." (You can also use keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Del)

  5. From the 'Delete browser History' menu, tick the boxes for 'Temporary Internet files and website files', 'Cookies and website data' and un-tick 'Preserve Favorites website data'.

  6. Click 'Delete' to delete the selected options.

  7. This may take a few second to few minutes depending on the amount of data stored. While it is working you will see a spinning blue circle.

Clearing your Browser Cache and Cookies - Microsoft Edge

There are two different versions of Microsoft Edge browser: Chromium and an older version.

 

To know which one you are using, check the logo that shows in the task bar at the bottom of your screen when you are using your browser:

 

Edge Chromium

 

Microsoft Edge older

   

 

Microsoft Edge (Chromium)

 

To clear your browser cache and cookies on Microsoft Edge (Chromium) follow the steps below:

 

  1. Open Microsoft Edge and go to www.pogo.com

  2. Click on the 3 dots in the top right corner of the browser, below the X to close the browser

  3. Select 'History'

  4. Click 'Clear browsing data' (You can also use keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Del)

  5. In the Clear Browsing Data window, click the drop-down box under Time Range and select 'All Time'

  6. In the Clear Browsing Data window, select 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files'

  7. Click 'Clear now' to clear the cache and cookies. This may take some time depending on how much is needed to be cleared.

  

Microsoft Edge (older versions)

 

Older versions of Microsoft Edge have some different steps.

 

  1. Open Microsoft Edge and go to www.pogo.com

  2. Click on the Hub/menu button next to the address bar (nr 1 on picture), select History (nr 2) and then 'Clear all history' (nr 3)

  3. Tick 'Cookies and saved website data' and 'Cached data and files', then select 'Clear'.

Clearing your Browser Cache - Chrome

To clear your browser cache on Google Chrome follow the steps below:

 

  1. Open Google Chrome and go to www.pogo.com

  2. Click the Menu button (nr 1 in below picture)

  3. Select 'More tools' (nr 2)

  4. Select 'Clear browsing data' (nr 3)

  5. In the Clear browsing data window, click the drop-down box for 'Time range' to 'the beginning of time'

  6. Tick 'Cached images and files' and 'Cookies and other site data'

  7. Select 'Clear data'.

Clearing your Browser Cache and Cookies - Firefox

To clear your browser cache and cookies on Mozilla Firefox follow the steps below:

 

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox and go to www.pogo.com

  2. Click on the menu button

  3. Select 'Options'

  4. On the left-hand side, select the 'Privacy and Security' tab

  5. Scroll down to 'Cookies and Site Data' and select 'Clear Data

  6. In the Clear Data window, select both 'Cookies and Site Data' and 'Cached Web Content'

  7. Click Clear to delete the selected options. This may take a few seconds to a few minutes depending on the amount of data stored.

Clearing your Browser Cache - Safari

To clear your browser cache on Safari, please follow the guide from Apple: https://support.apple.com/en-ie/guide/safari/sfri11471/13.0/mac/10.15

 

  1. Open Safari app
  2. Click 'Safari' in the top left hand of the screen.
  3. Select Preferences
  4. Click Privacy tab

  5. Select Remove stored cookies and data: Click Manage Website Data, then press Remove All button on the bottom left side of the window.

  6. Click Remove now in the warning message that appears.
