PvZ2 Won't Launch on iPad (not after update) [ Edited ]

This is a different issue than the one a lot of us experienced at the end of July. Two days ago PvZ2 started crashing on the launch. I put it on airplane mode, rebooted, checked for updates (there weren't any) and no luck. Any suggestions?

Same issue here.  App crashes a few seconds into launch.  Nothing I’ve tried has helped
