Dead Man's Booty is bugged, keeps resetting [ Edited ]

I am currently on level 44 of dead man's booty. Whenever I play and beat a level and then close the app and come back on my level is reset to where I started. For example I play 2 levels, that would mean I would be on 46 then I close the app and then go back on I'll be back on 44 is there anything I can do to fix this? I have tried just losing and data tying over but that doesn't work. I have also tried and resetting my device but that didn't work either.

Perhaps you could purposely lose, and restart the game.

Or you could simply wait for the next update, which refreshes the infinite levels thus cleaning the booty. If you chose to wait for an update, you will find yourself on level 44, but you should now be able to make progress.
