PvZ for android crash on startup

I have PvZ paid version that crashes on startup.  I was told by support to migrate to PvZ free.  That resolved the problem until I installed Simpsons Tapped Out, now PvZ free crashes on startup every time I launch it.  Are there game files on Android that I can save off to save my progress, so I can try uninstalling and reinstalling?
